In the year 2009-10, total guarantee of Rs. 34.28 Crore has been given whereas, Guarantees amounting Rs.394.42 Crore have been vacated during the year. Thus more guarantees have been vacated, than issuance of fresh guarantee due to adherence to the guarantee guidelines and vigorous pursuit for vacation of unused guarantee, partial vacation to the extent of payment of loans etc. This has resulted in reduction of over all outstanding guarantees as compared to previous year.
